Through our multi-faceted health assessment, we can pinpoint how your genetics, nutritional intake and lifestyle can work with, not against, your body’s ability to heal and flourish.
So much of what happens in the body is interconnected, so we use a comprehensive approach that brings all factors into the conversation. Tell us about yourself and the health goals you hope to accomplish. Give a brief history of illnesses you have experienced in your life. Give a brief history of family health.
Lyell will review your most recent bloodwork, gaining an understanding about issues that may be of concern to you (provided by client). If you don't have insurance ask about our low cost bloodwork.

If your concern is weight loss, we will also advise a Resting Metabolic Rate test to help understand more about your metabolism and how it impacts your body’s ability to burn calories. Please note: this test requires a four-hour fast from food, alcohol, cigarettes and physical activity and any stimulating medications, thus requires advance planning.
With this information and our knowledge and experience, we make several wellness recommendations intended to strengthen your body’s systems.
Based on our findings, each client leaves with a thorough list of recommendations for changes to diet and physical activity, and suggestions for herbs and herbal remedies, supplements, lifestyle coaching and more.
Lyell advises each client on when he or she should return for follow-up visits, as each aspect of her service is highly personal and tailored to each client’s needs. Follow-up wellness checks usually include additional bio-scan readings to benchmark changes and improvements. Since every client is different, and the human body is a complicated creation, it’s extremely important to check in and report how you’re feeling. Sometimes adjustments are necessary, and Lyell will make these changes if necessary.
